THE FOLLEN ANGELS will return with their dynamic new show “ELLA AND HER FELLAS” PART 2, to the intimate MARBLEHEAD LITTLE THEATRE for another fabulous evening.

This newly added show date of February 11, 2012 (just in time for Valentine’s Day) includes new music, making the show exciting for returning fans and perfect for all.

The Follen Angels have filled concert halls and radio airwaves, and continue to draw enthusiastic audiences from Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge to Mechanics Hall in Worchester, and the Metropolitan Room in New York City, to sharing the stage with HBO Comedian, Lewis Black.

The Follen Angels recently continued their East Coast tour taking center stage at the renowned “Don’t Tell Mama” in New York City for the release of their new CD, “I Got Rhythm: In Love with Gershwin and Cole Porter”. ”.

Recent reviews include:

The Boston Globe acclaims the Follen Angels music as,” heavenly sounds”.

Stacey Marcus, of the Marblehead Reporter, wrote: “I was instantly smitten with the Follen Angels and their unique presentation of music. The group has the robust talent of a big band coupled with the intimate charm and allure of a glamorous piano bar entertainer from a sequined era. All in all, it was a toe tapping good time that made me want to don an evening gown, color my lips ruby red and sip a bubbly glass of champagne”

New York Producer Andy Skurow writes of their recent New York performance, “The Follen Angels provide fresh arrangements to familiar classics…Their repertoire sounds unique and fresh…never sounded so good with a twist of funk. This was the MOST FUN I’ve had in the cabaret in a long time. The Follen Angels are a Must See !”

The Angel’s new show, “Ella and Her Fellas” pulls out all the stops by channeling the spirit, elegance and fun of America’s “First Lady of Song”, Miss Ella Fitzgerald. The music and the friendship she shared with Louis Armstrong, Sinatra and Duke Ellington is highlighted in this loving homage to the lady, her pals and some of the greatest jazz standards ever written. The music is fabulous; the energy high!

The Follen Angels will fill the air with incomparable melodies and sophisticated lyrics such as, “Lady Be Good”, “What is This Thing Called Love”, “Don’t get Around Much Any More”, “I Got Rhythm”, “Bewitched”, “This Can’t Be Love”, and many more Ella favorites.

Join HILDY GROSSMAN on vocals, STEVE HECK on piano, KENNETH W. DANTZIG on drums, RICK STONE on sax/clarinet, and KEALA KAUMEHEIWA on bass for this fun filled evening. We guarantee you will have a smile on your face and be humming a tune for the rest of the night.

A courtroom has never been more lively and fun than in The Big Bad Musical! This smart and wickedly funny musical is great for actors and audiences of any age. The jury — your audience — must decide the outcome of the biggest trial ever in the fairy-tale world! The notorious Big Bad Wolf is being slapped with a class-action lawsuit by storybooks of quirky characters who want to get even: Little Red Riding Hood, her Grandmother, the Three Little Pigs and the Shepherd in charge of the Boy Who Cried Wolf. With Sydney Grimm as the commentator on live Court TV, the two greatest legal minds in the Enchanted Forest — the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother — clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after. As our wronged fairy tale characters testify, the wolf seems deserving of all that’s coming. Yet, even though the infamous Evil Stepmother resents doing pro-bono work on such an obviously futile defense, Mr. Wolf makes a good case for himself. Was he born a criminal, or made one?
