Marblehead Little Theatre announces Non-Equity Auditions for
A Few Good Men

Auditions:
Sunday, November 30, 2-5 pm
Monday, December 1, 6:30-9:30 pm
Auditions will be in 30 minute blocks with up to 4 audtioner per block.
Auditions are by appointment, but walk ins will be auditioned as time allows.
Video Auditions will also be accepted but must be submitted by 9pm on November 24.
Callbacks: Wednesday , December 3, 6:30-9:30 pm
Auditions and Callbacks will be at Marblehead Little Theatre, 12 School St, Marblehead
Please prepare for the auditions: Sides will be emailed to you prior to your auditions. Please review them. Memorization is not required. You are welcome to print, mark up, and bring your own copies. Copies will also be available at the auditions.
Rehearsal Schedule: Monday through Thursday from January 5 through March 5, 6:30-9:30 pm. Not all actors will be required for all rehearsals.
Tech Q2Q: March 1, 10 am - 6 pm
Tech Week: March 2-5, 6 - 10 pm

March 7, 8, 14, 15 at 2 pm
Note: All performances will be held at the Firehouse at 12 School St. Marblehead, MA. Most rehearsals will also be held at the MLT Firehouse. About A Few good Men
Sorkin’s groundbreaking debut tells the story of a group of military lawyers assigned to defend two Marines in Guantanamo Bay. During the course of the trial, they uncover a high-level conspiracy designed to eliminate weaker soldiers in the name of patriotism.

- Defendant): Male Presenting. About 20 years old: stoic, serious, bold, aware.
Pfc. Louden Downey - (Defendant): Male Presenting. About 19 years old. Obedient and respectful.
Lt. J.G. Daniel Kaffee - (Lead Defense Attorney): Male Presenting. Late 20s. Easy-going and quick-witted.He tends to think that he knows everything.
Lt. Cmdr. Joanne Galloway - (Defense Attorney): Female Presenting. 30s. Composed and professional.
Lt. J.G. Sam Weinberg - (Defense Attorney): Late 20s. Laid back, he does his job with reasonable diligence, but he is a family man first and foremost.
Capt. Isaac Whitaker - (JAG supervisor): Male Presenting. Mid 40s to early 50s. Smart and sensible, not strict.
Capt. Matthew Markinson - (GITMO Company Commander): Male Presenting. Late 30s to early 40s. Stoic, logical, and strictly military. Served in Counter-Intelligence for 17 years.
Lt. Col. Nathan Jessep - (GITMO CO): Male Presenting. Mid 40s - Early 50s Self-confident to-a-fault. Bold, Intelligent, Ultra-Military

Capt. Jack Ross - (Prosecutor): Male Presenting. Early 30s. A nice guy but not a sucker. Logical and sensible.
Cpl. Jeffrey Howard - (Platoon-mate of victim and defendants): Male Presenting. Early 20s. Loyal to the Marines
Capt. Julius Alexander Randolph - (Judge): Male Presenting. Mid 40s to early 50s. Smart, sensible, fair.
