MLT Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear MLT Community,

We are committed to the health and safety of our audiences, artists, and staff, and feel is is our obligation to follow the latest recommendations of the Health Care professionals. The MLT Board of Directors has suspended all public performances and events at Marblehead Little Theatre through June 30.

Please observe social distancing and mask wearing guidelines at all times when outside on sidewalks and alleyways adjacent to Firehouse and when on our terrace.

The following upcoming programs are affected:

  • The Summer Children’s Musical Program scheduled for July has been cancelled.
  • The entire 2020-2021 MLT Season has been postponed until 2021-2022.
  • Children’s Summer Theatre workshops have been reconfigured to one workshop per week from July 27 through August 21 with a maximum of 8 children per workshop.
  • The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has initiated a Four-Phase Reopening Plan. According to the plan, arts and entertainment organizations (theaters) will eligible for reopening in Phase 3 with restriction on audience capacity and distancing.
