Arrived at Marblehead Little Theatre just in time for Valentine’s Day, 2010. “Italian American Reconciliation” ran February 12 – 21, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm. Tickets were $20.

Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris is a cabaret style musical filled with passionate solos, lively trios and amazing lyrics. Song after song addresses life’s issues in moving poetry and soaring melodies. A number of the songs were written in the aftermath of WW II and express Brel’s picture of the cost of war. The love songs break your heart and make you laugh.
The song best known is “If We Only Have Love” – an anthem to healing the wounds of the world.
This production had a core cast of Little Theatre favorites as well as guest stars at each performance.
