AOP – Improv Comedy at MLT

March 16 - 7:30pm
at Marblehead Little Theatre

What’s the Hype About?

Accidentally on Purpose (AOP) isn’t just another improv troupe. They’ve taken New England by storm, and their founders have even graced Boston stages with hits like the Awesome 80’s Prom & Claddagh Bing Irish/Italian Wedding Show. Picture a comedy style that’s a mashup of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” sprinkled with a bit of Saturday Night Live and The Carol Burnett Show vibes—yes, it’s that good!

But Wait, There’s More!

The show isn’t just a spectator sport; it’s an interactive experience! Audience members are invited to throw in scene suggestions and even volunteer to be a part of the comedy chaos. The AOP team isn’t just composed of comedians; it’s a diverse cast featuring professionals from all walks of life—doctors, authors, teachers, tradesmen, salespeople, and corporate executives. Imagine the richness and hilarity that these different perspectives bring to the table. They’ve been crafting laughs together for over a dozen years, and it shows!

Ready for an evening that promises laughs, surprises, and moments you’ll discuss for weeks to come?

Don’t miss this opportunity for a night of unparalleled comedy and fun. It’s not just a show; it’s a community event that promises to leave you smiling long after the curtains close. See you there!

The Most Epic Birthday Party Ever!

Skyler is about to turn 12, and she’s planned the biggest celebration of the year. But in the middle of the party, something mysterious happens – all the adults suddenly vanish! Trapped in the backyard, the kids realize they must create a brand new society. Eventually the kids learn a big lesson in responsibility.
